New Beginnings…

Hello Chai was born from a deeply personal story. Growing up South African, tea was always part of daily life. But it was our Pakistani uncle’s chai — simmered slow, spiced just right, made with complete love — that changed everything.

Time spent in Doha, Qatar deepened our obsession with karak chai — the Gulf’s legendary spiced tea. When we arrived in Malaysia, we looked around and found something remarkable: nobody was doing this at anywhere near the same quality or consistency.

So we decided to be the ones to bring it, because moving to a new country is already tough, so why not bring that feeling of home that so many others long for? Hello Chai is our love letter to every cup that ever made us feel at home — and now we’re sharing that feeling with Malaysia.
